Wings of Hope Recovery is not licensed or certified to provide substance use disorder treatment services, and we are a type of housing in which individuals recovering from a substance use disorder voluntarily choose to live together in a supportive environment during their recovery.

Wings of Hope - Spring Street location offers ten bedrooms, each being a double bedroom. Bedroom are spacious and range from 100-150 SF. Our homes are fully furnished. Upon move-in, you will find your room furnished with the following:

Living Rooms
There are two living rooms and one flex room for residents to relax. Living rooms include comfortable couches, seating, and large televisions along with peaceful decor that makes you feel at home.
There are also two desk areas and high speed internet throughout the home.
Kitchens
There are two newly renovated kitchens with brand new appliances and stocked with all of your kitchen necessities.
Bathrooms
There are three beautiful bathrooms with stand-up showers. One bathroom has a dual vanity.
Location
Wings of Hope is conveniently located in the North End of Middletown, walking distance to Main Street, Washington Street, Portland, and public transportation. There are several bus stops nearby.
Admission
Wings of Hope Recovery understands that the recovery journey can be challenging for both prospective residents and their families. As a result, our commitment is to offer personalized support from your initial inquiry through admission, ensuring a streamlined process.
We recommend that prospective residents have prior treatment experience, as our recovery residence is not intended to replace comprehensive care. Wings of Hope Recovery is tailored for individuals with a solid recovery foundation, ready to navigate and thrive in recovery, structure, employment, volunteer work, and/or academic pursuits on a day-to-day basis.
Recovery House In-Take Process
1. Interested Applicants should call Wings of Hope Recovery Director at 203-646-7156.
2. Complete our online application.
3. After completing application, an in-person tour and interview will be conducted.
4. After tour/interview, a decision will be made on acceptance to the house.
Moving Into Wings of Hope
Upon acceptance into the Wings of Hope Recovery community, a move-in date will be scheduled. A minimum is 7 days notice is preferred.
While Wings of Hope Recovery does not offer clinical services, we collaborate with relevant agencies for support, counseling, and job training. We advocate for residents to engage in outpatient chemical dependency programs when suitable and leverage community resources to enrich their recovery journey. Our director is available to residents around the clock.
Membership Fees
Membership fees range from $175-215
per week for a shared room. There are no single rooms offered at this time.
